Broadway Ventures provides information technology and cybersecurity services to federal government and healthcare customers. We hold a Top-Secret Facility Security Clearance (TS FCL), operate on a Government Community Cloud (GCC) High network, and comply with NIST SP 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 requirements. Broadway is a prime contractor to the U.S. Air Force Secretary of the Air Force Concepts, Development, and Management Office (SAF/CDM) under the Portfolio Technology Expertise Support IDIQ, delivering network and enterprise architecture, advanced analytics, applied technology, technology portfolio management, research and development support, and subject matter expertise across complex national security challenges. Broadway also holds prime and subcontract experience with the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Cybersecurity Services

Broadway Ventures delivers full spectrum cybersecurity services to Department of Defense (DoD) and federal civilian customers. We perform Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) duties across the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN) and SECRET DREN (SDREN), protecting 138 subscriber sites and approximately 35,000 hosts for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineer Research and Development Center (USACE ERDC) and the DoD High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP). Our services align to the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012, FISMA, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0, and DoD 8570.01-M.

Our services include:

  • 24x7x365 Security Operations and Incident Response: Continuous attack sensing and warning (AS&W), cyber incident handling, and security monitoring across classified and unclassified enclaves. Our operations team processes an average of 115,000 intrusion detection system (IDS) alerts per week, with a one hour response standard for subscriber support requests and 90 minute trouble ticket creation. Continuity of Operations (COOP) is tested quarterly and exercised annually, with Tier 1 recovery in under three hours.
  • Zero Trust Architecture and Defense in Depth Engineering: Software defined perimeters, mesh and remote Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), network access control (NAC), and the DoD Comply to Connect (C2C) initiative using Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). Zone based Palo Alto firewall rule sets, high speed Cisco Nexus data center switching, BGPv4 based COOP failover, dual stack IPv4 and IPv6 implementation, SNMPv3 monitoring, Ports Protocols and Services Management (PPSM) documentation, and over 4,000 Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) controls under active management.
  • Vulnerability Management and Continuous Monitoring: Deployment and management of the DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) in accordance with DISA best practice guides. Remote ACAS scanners are provisioned and shipped to new CSSP subscribers within 72 hours. Additional services include Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) remediation, Host Based Security System (HBSS) and endpoint protection, Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM), and Boundary Assessment Team (BAT) evaluations of public facing DREN assets.
  • Security Configuration Management and Cyber Credentialing: Baseline security configuration management, Common Access Card (CAC) based two factor authentication, network authentication, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services, and privileged access management across Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments.
  • Authorization, Compliance, and Assessment Support: Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation packages, Authority to Operate (ATO) artifacts, and certification evidence for DoD enclaves. Direct support for on site Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI), Security Control Assessment Validation (SCA-V), and Enterprise Security Monitoring (ESM) audits. System documentation, architecture diagrams, and security artifacts maintained in government approved repositories including O365 SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Insider Threat and Cybersecurity Protection Condition (CPCON) Support: User Activity Monitoring (UAM) and system auditing to detect, deter, and mitigate insider threats to classified systems. Tracking of CPCON changes and orders, reporting to Government leadership, and subscriber support for Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) inventories and network diagrams.
  • Cyber Defense for High Performance Computing (HPC): Cyber Security Service Provider for the HPC enclaves supporting ERDC research, including the DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) SDREN. Protection of computational and network resources across seven laboratories and four campuses in Vicksburg, Mississippi; Champaign, Illinois; Hanover, New Hampshire; and Alexandria, Virginia. 98.5% average availability of the ERDC Research and Development Environment (RDE), securing more than 400 network devices and over 500 managed computing systems.
  • Healthcare Data Security and Compliance: Federal grade security practices applied to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) programs, including protection of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions in X12, 837, and 835 formats. Compliance with HIPAA, CMS Acceptable Risk Safeguards (ARS), FISMA, and Section 508 requirements across claims intake, provider enrollment, and medical review operations.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Solutions

Broadway Ventures provides Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations and technical support for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) programs. We support the CMS Common Services for Front End Systems (CSFES) contract, providing EDI Operations Associates who process and troubleshoot transactions across Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) and submitters. Broadway securely transmits millions of Medicare transactions annually.

Our EDI services include:

  • X12 Transaction Processing: Support for Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12 transaction sets used across Medicare and Medicaid, including 837 claims submission, 835 remittance advice, 270 and 271 eligibility inquiry and response, and 276 and 277 claim status request and response.
  • Real Time Monitoring and Submitter Support: 24/7 monitoring of data submissions, first and second level technical support for external submitters and internal CMS stakeholders, and resolution of connectivity, format, and acknowledgment issues.
  • Enrollment and Transaction Setup: Management of submitter enrollment applications, electronic transaction setup, software installation, and submitter testing and certification across Medicare claims, remittance advice, eligibility, enrollment, and premium payment transactions.
  • Audit and Documentation Support: Tracking of requests and responses in relational databases, preparation of audit documentation, and compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, Section 508, and CMS security and service level standards.

Cloud Services & Performance Testing

Broadway Ventures delivers multi cloud and cloud benchmarking services to federal research and defense customers. Capabilities include Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS), Microsoft Azure reseller authorization, multi cloud architecture, containerization, billing and chargeback, and Tier 1, 2, and 3 customer support. As prime contractor to the U.S. Air Force, Broadway evaluated Dynavisor TorrentPro on Microsoft Azure to measure input and output operations per second (IOPS), storage throughput, latency, and virtual machine performance against bare metal baselines.

Our cloud services include:

  • Cloud Architecture and Multi Cloud Integration: Cloud architecture design and implementation across Microsoft Azure and other public and private cloud providers. Containerization, hybrid deployments, and Microsoft Azure Software reseller services.
  • I/O Throughput and Latency Testing: Benchmarking of cloud workloads using IOR-Sequential, MDTEST, and custom test harnesses to quantify IOPS, storage throughput, and latency across virtual machine configurations.
  • Cluster and Node Performance Testing: Multi node testing, elastic workload simulation, and integration with the Kubernetes Dashboard through the Symphony GUI for job flow, resource allocation, and real time performance visualization.
  • Data Validation and Methodology Development: Design of statistically valid sampling and validation methodologies. Prime contract experience includes the CMS End-Stage Renal Disease Quality Incentive Program (ESRD QIP) data validity and reliability program supporting the End-Stage Renal Disease Quality Reporting System (EQRS) and the CDC National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN).
  • Supercomputing as a Service (SCaaS): Hybrid HPC cluster design, testing, and benchmarking across Microsoft Azure and other public and private cloud environments, including evaluation of acceleration platforms for Department of Defense workloads.

System Administration & IT Transformation

Broadway Ventures provides enterprise system administration and IT modernization services across Windows, Linux, UNIX, and virtualized environments. Our multi year support to the ERDC Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) covered four campuses in Vicksburg, Mississippi; Champaign, Illinois; Hanover, New Hampshire; and Alexandria, Virginia.

Services include:

  • Windows, Linux, and Virtualization Management: Lifecycle support for Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms, over 500 virtual servers, and over 4,000 Active Directory accounts. Patch management using Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Heat, Casper, Apple, and Red Hat toolchains.
  • Configuration Management: Maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), coordination with the Configuration Control Board (CCB), baseline documentation, naming conventions, and license management. Support for Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation and Authority to Operate (ATO) sustainment.
  • Enterprise Services: Microsoft Exchange email administration at 99.9% uptime, Active Directory Domain Services management, backup and storage for over 100 TB of data, Mobile Device Management (MDM) for more than 800 devices, and Common Access Card (CAC) based two factor authentication.
  • Cloud Integration and Modernization: Extension of on-premises enclaves into Microsoft Azure L4 environments, preservation of accreditation boundary and Authority to Operate (ATO) status during migrations, and modernization of legacy environments to virtualized and cloud hosted platforms.
  • End User Support and Help Desk: Tier 1, 2, and 3 help desk and end user support including desktop imaging, peripheral management, printer and mobile device support, and standardized workstation deployment.

Data Analytics & AI Integration

Broadway Ventures builds data validation, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for federal customers in healthcare, defense research, and environmental science. Capabilities include Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, Large Language Models (LLMs) and transformer libraries, Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, and AI assistants for Building Information Models (BIM).

Services include:

  • Data Validation and Compliance: Statistically valid sampling, abstraction protocols, and interface control documents. Prime contract support to CMS validates clinical and administrative data in the End-Stage Renal Disease Quality Incentive Program (ESRD QIP), covering dialysis adequacy (Kt/V), hypercalcemia, depression screening, ultrafiltration, and administrative forms CMS-2728, CMS-2744, and CMS-2746.
  • AI Integration and Development: Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, specialized Natural Language Processing (NLP) and computer vision transformer models, and Building Information Model (BIM) AI assistants designed for federal customer workflows.
  • Database Modernization and Enterprise Knowledge Graphs: Design and deployment of enterprise data solutions including data lakes, distributed spatial databases, Resource Description Framework (RDF) and property graph knowledge graphs, image and multimedia libraries, and integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) with enterprise data.
  • Reactive Transport and Predictive Modeling: Environmental and hydraulic modeling using MODFLOW, HYDRUS, and KY Pipe, combined with Python and R based analytics and integration with ERDC geospatial databases and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) including AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Facility level and aggregate reporting, executive briefings, dashboards, and technical white paper support to federal program leadership.

High Performance Computing (HPC)

Broadway Ventures supports Department of Defense (DoD) and federal research customers with high performance computing operations, cybersecurity, and benchmarking. Our team supports the DoD High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineer Research and Development Center (USACE ERDC).

Services include:

  • Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) for HPC: Broadway performs CSSP functions for USACE ERDC HPC enclaves and supports HPCMP operations across the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN) and SECRET DREN (SDREN), including the DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) SDREN.
  • HPC Network and Storage Engineering: Integration of the ERDC Corporate Computing Environment (CCE) with HPC supercomputers, 10 Gbps DREN backbone connectivity, 20 Gbps data center throughput to each host, and extension of classified and unclassified enclaves into Microsoft Azure L4.
  • Benchmarking and Performance Optimization: IOPS, throughput, and latency testing using IOR-Sequential and MDTEST, comparative bare metal and virtualized performance analysis, and evaluation of acceleration platforms including Dynavisor TorrentPro for Supercomputing as a Service (SCaaS) use cases.
  • Research Computing Support: Support for seven ERDC laboratories across four campuses, approximately 400 managed network devices, and systems accredited for Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) computing workloads.
